Welcome To Samsung

Restore the signal processing and interface functionality of your indoor unit with the Samsung Air Conditioner Sub PCB Assembly DB93-03117A. This auxiliary circuit board acts as a critical communication node, typically housing the infrared (IR) receiver that captures remote control signals and the LED indicator lights that display the current status of the unit. It is also often responsible for controlling the louver motors that manage air direction. A failure in this sub-board can lead to a system that is unresponsive to the remote control, missing display segments, or a failure in the auto-swing features.
Manufactured with high-sensitivity electronic components and a protective coating to resist moisture from the evaporator coils, the DB93-03117A ensures that the user interface remains reliable. Its compact design allows it to be mounted behind the front panel or within the electrical box, providing a stable platform for the units diagnostic and feedback systems.
Installation / Replacement Instructions:
1. Safety First: Turn off the air conditioner and disconnect the power supply at the main circuit breaker.
2. Remove the Front Panel: Open the intake grill and remove the air filters. Unscrew and carefully pull away the main plastic housing of the indoor unit to expose the internal wiring.
3. Locate the Sub PCB: Identify the board, which is usually positioned behind the display window or clipped into the side of the main control box.
4. Document the Wiring: Take a clear photo of the existing wiring harnesses and ribbon cables. Note the orientation of the board to ensure the new one is installed correctly.
5. Swap the Board: Carefully unplug the wiring connectors from the old DB93-03117A. Release any plastic locking tabs or unscrew the mounting hardware to remove the faulty board. Snap or screw the new assembly into place.
6. Reconnect and Secure: Plug the wiring harnesses back into the new board until they click firmly. Route the wires through their original paths to ensure they are not pinched during reassembly.
7. Reassemble and Test: Replace the electrical covers, front housing, and filters. Restore power and use the remote control to verify that the display illuminates and the unit responds to all commands.
Compatible with select Samsung split-system air conditioners, this OEM-quality sub-PCB assembly ensures factory-standard communication and reliable user interface control.
